These four short films were created by students of Larkin Community College during the third year of a three-year partnership project between the National Museum of Ireland – Decorative Arts & History and Larkin Community College, Dublin 1. Throughout the project, students from Larkin worked with a group of older adults who attend the Lourdes Day Care Centre which is close to the school.

The films are part of a series of 12 created for an online Heritage Trail which links Larkin Community College, the statues on Dublin’s O’Connell Street and the National Museum of Ireland at Collins Barracks. The three-year project has involved puppet-making, storytelling, photography and theatre, in addition to film-making, as ways in which to explore history and heritage.
